At Jelaine & Co, our story began like many others, in the heart of corporate America, chasing the classic American dream: a home, a family, a steady paycheck, and a vision of security. In 2015, we celebrated a major milestone by purchasing our first property. But it didn’t take long for us to realize that relying solely on a job was a fragile foundation.

When job loss and burnout came unexpectedly, we found ourselves unprepared, with no safety net and no clear direction forward.

That moment became our turning point.

As Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us,

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

We began to recognize the importance of preparing, not panicking, for life's inevitable changes. We knew we needed a better way to build security, and more importantly, to help others do the same.
